Choice of data

I am conducting research into airline advertising.

My topic is A Content Analysis in Airline Advertising (Slogans/Taglines?)
My data is airline slogans/Taglines.

For example,
The tagline of Singapore Airline is A GREAT WAY TO FLY, and
its slogan is WE FIND THE FILMS YOU LOVE, TO MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME.

I'm thinking about choices of data

Choice 1 : Top 100 airlines in Skytrax (Skytrax is an award for airlines around the world) There are hundreds of airlines around the world)

Choice 2 : Ten Best low cost airlines of the world

Choice 3 : 30 airlines in Asia

(Note I originally planed to look at the top 20 and the lowest 20 in Skytrax award, but most of the language of the lowest 20 is not English, so I cannot understand thier slogans/taglines.)

Do you think which choice is appropriate and why (my supervisor asked me)? Please help.

Thank you very much

What is your main purpose of the study? I think the purpose will help you select the data.

Sometimes, our preference is not your preference. It is hard to justify the reasons. But you need to think about the data can be helpful to the people.

So we do research for other people, not for ourselves. Is this true?
