If you have used Google Scholar in the past few days, you might have seen that they have released their "2019 Scholar Metrics" report. I did a few searches for keywords like lingustics, language teaching, English, etc. and came up with a ranked list of 81 potential journals that you all might be interested in. The top 10 are not terribly surprising:
- Applied Linguistics
- TESOL Quarterly
- The Modern Language Journal
- Journal of Pragmatics
- Journal of Computer Assisted Learning
- Reading and Writing
- Language Teaching Research
- Language Learning & Technology
- Language Learning
- Journal of Second Language Writing
I have a spreadsheet with a list of 81 journals ranked by h-5 scores. I am unable to upload it to the forum, so if you want a copy, then please let me know!
